Relativistic superluminal radio jets in microquasars in our galaxy

چکیده
We discuss the origin of superluminal radio jets in Black hole X-ray binaries with relativistic radio jets in our Galaxy popularly known as microquasars. We classify the relativistic superluminal jet according to the radio emission in black hole X-ray binaries (transient or persistent) rather than the mass of the companion. The black hole X-ray binaries with transient radio emission (mostly LMXBs) produce superluminal jets with βapp > 1 when the accretion rate, ṁaccr is high and the bolometric luminosity Lbol approaches the Eddington Luminosity, LEdd . On the other hand, the black hole X-ray binaries with persistent radio emission (mostly HMXBs) produce superluminal jets with βapp < 1 at relatively low ṁaccr. We specially discuss the case of V4641 Sgr , a HMXB with transient radio emission which produces superluminal radio jets like in LMXBs.

The radio flaring behaviour of GRO J 1655 − 40 : an analogy with extragalactic radio sources ?
At radio frequencies, the current evidence for the microquasar–quasar connection is based on imaging observations showing that relativistic outflows/jets are found in both classes of objects. Some microquasars also display superluminal motion, further strengthening the view that microquasars are in fact Galactic miniatures of quasars. Here we demonstrate that this connection can be extended to ...
متن کاملConnection between Accretion Disk and Superluminal Radio Jets and the Role of Radio Plateau State in Grs 1915+105
We investigate the association between the accretion disk during radio plateau state and the following superluminal relativistic radio jets with peak intensity varies from 200 mJy to 1000 mJy observed over a period of five years and present the evidences of direct accretion disc-jet connection in microquasar GRS 1915+105 . We have analysed RXTE PCA/HEXTE X-ray data and have found that the accre...

Relativistic outflows are common in accreting and forming black holes. Despite the enormous differences in scale, stellar-mass black holes in X-ray binaries and supermassive black holes in Galactic Nuclei produce jets with analogous properties. In both are observed two types of relativistic outflows: 1) quasi-steady compact jets with flat-spectrum, and 2) episodic large-scale ejections with ste...
متن کاملSources of Relativistic Jets in the Galaxy
Black holes of stellar mass and neutron stars in binary systems are first detected as hard X-ray sources using high-energy space telescopes. Relativistic jets in some of these compact sources are found by means of multiwavelength observations with ground-based telescopes. The X-ray emission probes the inner accretion disk and immediate surroundings of the compact object, whereas the synchrotron...
متن کاملX-ray and radio emission in the nuclei of radio galaxies and the disk-jet connection
It appears that relativistic jets are produced by accreting black holes. We might therefore expect that events observed in jets, such as the appearance of bright radio knots moving at apparent superluminal speeds, originate as disturbances in the central engine. This is observed in a number of compact X-ray binary systems in our Galaxy, manifested as changes in the X-ray emission state followed...
